Today’s Tuesday Tidbit is simple and to the point: work those angles. We as photographers can get lazy and shoot most of our photos at eye-level, the angle at which most of us see the world every day. What’s so fun about an image that looks “everyday”? Get up high, get down low….just get somewhere other than eye level, think outside the box…and inject your images with a dose of excitement. As I looked through several of my images in prep for this post, I was reminded of how often I fall into the eye-level black hole and don’t work those angles. I want my clients to be excited by their images, to be intrigued, to see their lives in new and different ways. When I stick with the eye-level formula, my clients don’t get that experience. So today’s tidbit is as much for me as it is for you–work it girl. Work those angles.
Get up high
Get down low
Even if you look like a goof…
Happy shooting from Vantage!
