This was one of my favorite engagement sessions to date….and not just because Melissa and John were all about my “let’s do cartwheels!” idea. Melissa and John are A-dorable and constantly laughing with each other; any photos you see with them being serious or just semi-smiling took all the energy they could muster. :) I’m beyond psyched for their wedding at Scripps Forum, which will include, ahem, a kegerator of John’s home brew, a pre-wedding group yoga session, a yummy chocolate buffet and two very fabulous people (that’s you, Melissa and John). Sadly (or smartly), the adorable pup named Blue, who made an appearance at the e-session upon my request, will not be invited to the wedding. :) Enjoy the sneak peek and slideshow!

OMG this is one of THE most fun pre-wedding slideshows I’ve ever viewed and supremely fun, being so poetically done that it could be out of a movie. Music was perfect, too.
I couldn’t stop laughing over the pictures of Blue. He’s a natural for a jeans ad. Maybe you have stumbled on a hidden talent of his?
Perhaps you might make a DVD, with this slide show plus parts leading up to the wedding (yoga – what a relaxing idea) and then the event itself? I’m in line to receive one if you do.

Melissa and John are awesome together – two beautiful and openly expressive people you just want to be around and share in their positive energy. I felt like I was alongside Jena for the shoot. You’ve captured their essence for what will be the start of a beautiful journey together. I’m thrilled that you’ve shared it with us all. Even Blue’s character came shining through. Wow! The slide show made me laugh and cry at the same time. Truly beautiful photos of a beautiful young couple! I loved the variety of poses and locations as well.
